Location of crankshaft position sensor

Location of crankshaft position sensor
Hi can anybody help I have a citroen c2 07 1.4 diesel and it will not start and dionostics says there is a crankshaft position sensor fault but I can not locate where it is

Assuming it's the same as the 1.6 then it's behind the crank pulley, at about 7 o'clock when viewed end on.

One and the same, there isn't a separate sensor.

Ok thanks but I was lead to believe that the position sensor was on the flywheel Bell housing but the starting motor but can not see it

If it's the 1.4 HDi 70 then there is a camshaft position sensor:

The cam sensor is located at the top of the engine pointing at the cam pulley, the crank sensor location is shown in the picture already posted.

I have changed the crankshaft position to now my reader is say low current to position sensor what could this be

What code have you actually got? Where did the sensor come from?
