XM Y3 Rear Suspension Cylinder Roll Pin

Post by Assich »

I have one missing from the left rear cylinder and one about to rust through on the right rear. I was hoping someone would be able to tell me their size. Also does anyone refurb the cylinders?

What pin is it? Do you mean the R - clip that locates the suspension push rod in the trailing arm end? Or the clamp that goes around the cylinder to hold the rubber gaiter?

I think you can get the gaiter clip new from various suppliers. Not sure about the R clip though.

It's the pin that sits in the side of the hydraulic cylinder. I managed to replace it with a 8mm dia. x 32mm long x 2.5mm thick spring pin but I suspect the original was 1.5mm thick.
