Lexie installation problems

Unread post by mtotterd »

Hi,

I have been trying to install the lexia3 software but keep getting getting error

C\applic\lexia\calculo\four_004\syst_000\api_001\vers_227\\61997080.ulp

Error CRC

Does anyone know what this error means?

Or how I can move past the issue,

Thankyou in advance

Think it needs to be mounted on a virtual drive, dont ask me how , there should be some posts on here somewhere.

You shouldn't need to install Lexia software separately at all if you are installing everything via the complete Diagbox software installation, as Both Peugeot Planet 2000 and Lexia software is already encapsulated within Diagbox, the main software programme. Diagbox will detect the vehicle type and launch the most appropriate version PP2000 or Lexia for circa 2007 and earlier vehicles and Diagbox for circa Post 2008 vehicles (but this will depend on Marque, model and year).

Also if any of you above have a failed DIAGBOX installation, uninstalling and reinstalling the software will make no difference. The software needs uninstalling and a cleaner programme needs to be run to remove all the folders and registry entries created which are left over from the uninstallation.

I used to do the regedit through the command prompt , but you need to know all the file strings , bit long winded way
This looks handy as i might be using this soon.

If you can access the motherboard look for a jumper/switch marked "Clear CMOS" (or similar). If it exists move it to the other position, wait a few minutes, move it back, power up the system and see if you can get into the BIOS.

My software came with a program that removes all of the diagbox installation if it goes wrong , it wipes the registry automatic, i went in reg edit on command.com everything to do with pp2000 lexia and so on was all gone , so i did a fresh install and it wont open just a blank square start up screen
