ES9 - Correct coolant mix with water

Unread post by Franchute13 »

Hello.
I want to clean the coolant system.
The total capacity is almost 10 litres.
What is the correct mix between Total brand concentrated coolant and demineralized water? 50% 50%?? 30% coolant 70% water?
Thanks.

Thanks for answering.
I used the site to search for the 407 v6 gas but it doesn't help.
The site doesn't explain, it just says LOOK AT THE MAINTENANCE BOOK.

Normally there is guidance on the coolant bottle according to what temperature you want to protect the engine down to. Most mixes end up being in the 40:60 to 60:40 range. That's all I can offer, someone else may have more advice for you. Good luck :)

I have found another site which has concentration information on page 2, have a look at:

Citroen / Peugeot use Freecor DSC Fluid in all vehicles. You can buy from the dealer in various container sizes and in either the concentrated or ready to use variants.

Hello.
Here, in Argentina, the original PSA refrigerant is from Total.

Old stock I suspect. They haven't used that for years..... but as long as you have the equivalent for what you need.
