C4 B7 lubrication fault code

Hmmm, I got this type of information:

Lubrication system, pressure not consistent with atmospheric pressure.

Meaning what? Oil and filter has changed few thousand ago, Mobil 5w-30 ESP.

1,6 VTI 2011. Timingchaing, pistonrings aso. changed about 12000 km ago.

I dont have actual code, iCarsoft gives only that text.

I can't help you without a proper PSA code. Most diagnostic tools provide the code as well as the description, but not all the codes are PSA codes. But without any code I can't help you as there are lots of pressure sensors in the vehicle for different functions.

Yeah, I understand this. I try to find out a proper faultcode.

I assume, that it might be intake manifold pressure sensor. At least I try to find and clean it.

Where is that sensor in 1,6 VTI engine?

But this could also be the oil pressure sensor, so we really need the code.

Yeah, I've been in contanct to manufacturer of iCarsoft, so they try to figure it out, why my FR V2. 0 doesn't give any proper code.

Is there any smart way to measure those sensors?

They answered to me, that they are still working with iCarsoft issue, but they have find out, that fault code is P15A7.

It seems to be oil pressure sensor?

I have heard, that there has been some problems with oilpumps in VTI engines.

Is here any knowledge about that?

Ok, so this is the fault code descriptor:

Fault Code:	P15A7
Description of Fault:	Lubrication system : Pressure not consistent with the atmospheric pressure. Comparison of the oil pressure measured and the atmospheric pressure.
Conditions for Fault to clear:	Confirmation of return to automatic mode on the piloted oil pump.
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:	Change to "mechanical mode" on the piloted oil pump.
Symptoms:	Warning lamp MIL Excessive fuel consumption.
Suspect Areas:	Oil pressure sensor Electrical harness Lubrication system

So the first thing I would do is just change the Oil Pressure Sensor - I wouldn't bother attempting cleaning it, then see if that resolves the issue.

Do you or anyone else have knowledge about that sensor; is it quite common problem or quite rare?

The engine oil pressure switch on this model is attached to the oil filter housing.
