DS3 Steering Rack

Unread post by Zo1993 »

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me find the correct part number for a steering rack for my vehicle, someone has fitted a second hand one on the vehicle however it is coming up with a power steering control unit failure.

My vin number is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Are these just plug and play or need coding, a brand new unit is working out more than the car is worth so would like to fit a second hand unit. Thanks in advance!
Hi guys, I have a Citroen DS3 2011 with a power steering fault, no communication to steering ECU. I was wondering if anyone knew if you can fit a second hand steering rack as new ones cost more than the car is worth. Also, I have seen many online with different part numbers so I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me out with identifying the correct part number for mines as it looks lime someone has already fit a second hand one. (Got the car with fault). Checked all the wiring already and all looks okay. Thanks in advance.
