Circuit Diagram request

Unread post by MidlothianMark »

Can anyone help me get a Circuit Diagram / Diagnose a fault?
I have a 2014 Citroen C4 Picasso VTR+ 1.6 HDi, VIN No VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
The Heater Blower Motor stopped working last week, it had previously been working and sounding fine. I don't have a Circuit Diagram for my model, but I have been using posts on this forum to carry out as many checks as I can:-

1. I checked every fuse I can find in the Engine Fuse Box and the Passenger Glove Box, all OK

2. I have removed the Blower Motor and tested it on a bench using a spare battery, it works OK and runs smoothly.

3. I have removed the Blower Motor Contol unit and tested it with the Blower Motor on the bench. I used the spare battery and a power supply to create a control signal, I was able to get the Blower running at different speeds by changing the voltage onto the controller "IN" pin (normally connected to a very thin Yellow/White control wire) It works OK

Without a Circuit Diagram I am struggling to trace where the Control Signal should come from, and what other things to check next, eg. which Relays are connected to it.

I am new to this site and have found the forum very informative.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Mark (from Midlothian / Scotland)

If it is the current shape one I can't help. BUT if it is a later 07 to 14 then have a look in the engine fusebox for a single relay at the front and give it a clean up and test it. That's what did mine with exactly the same symptoms.

Thanks for your Reply Chris.
Mine is the new shape (2014) MKII and the Aircon/Heater Blower speed is selected on the touch display screen in the centre of the dashboard. I will have a look at the relays, but there are loads of them in the Engine Fusebox and Passenger Glovebox Fusebox. I'm hoping for a circuit diagram to help me identify which Relay(s).

This should hopefully be the diagram for your car. I have had to do it in 2 halves as the scaling is to small to read as one.

Hi Wheeler,
Thanks for your reply. This looks like the Circuit Diagram for my car, but I can't read it even if I print it out magnified because the quality is so low. Are you able to send me a better copy?

Anyone else have a circuit diagram they can send me please?
Or does anyone know where I could get a Circuit Diagram, even if I have to subscribe somewhere?

Many Thanks,
MidlothianMark

Leave it with me...

Ok, this is the correct one for your vehicle based on your VIN. It is slightly different to the previous one but will scale at any size so you should be able to view it at any size without issue.

This one takes into account the electronic architecture installed, the correct A/C system and other options.

Thanks you very much for this, it prints out nice and clear.
Hopefully now I will be able to trace the fault.
Cheers,
