Still working on the Xantia.
Made the mistake of leaving the gauze filter in the turbo oil feed pipe that normally sits in the rear of the block.
Anyway, it’s damaged beyond any hope. Part number is 1164.26 and it is NFP.
Some forums, Berlingo, recommend running without the gauze.
I really don’t like the idea of that but I feel there is no option.
Has anyone got any ideas? Or a spare brand nee filter sitting around that they’d like to part with?
This is getting any easier. All the fun has gone out of doing the cylinder head.

How big (and how fine) is the gauze? I wonder if the gauze from a 'bong' would be suitable? These can be had from most places selling paraphernalia for smoking implements. Something like these;
