ew10j4s torque settings

Unread post by Fake Concern »

A friend of mine with a C4 VTS 180 needs the torque setting for the flywheel bolts, I have tried to see if I can find this on Lexia and on ServiceCitroen, but so far no go. Does anyone know how to find this or can anyone find it for me please?

Thanks for answering and sorry I didn't get back to you straight away (my mum had a fall so I had to go over and didn't get back until late)

I don't think the VTS 180 which is petrol has a dual mass flywheel onlt the diesel VTS, although I may be wrong!

I hope your Mum is OK!

Actually - for some reason I had a glitch and the wrong data came up - so I've corrected it in my previous post - so please re-check above.

Think they must have numbered the drawing on Friday afternoon after a good long lunch! There are 2 item 23s for instance, and 25 is pointing at the block! From the table you have posted, 20 would appear to be the spec for the flywheel bolts. But that is still different to the original info you found, and which was the same as I found in my off line version of service.citroen!

Yes, looks a bit of a dog's breakfast, and of course we have to make sure the 'tracer' lines are followed where they have exploded the parts for the purposes of seeing everything - as it looks back to front if not! :-D
