Hydraulic hose connected to the rear height adjustment valve

I am writing the letter to get some information.i would be grateful if you help me.There is a forty cm wire in the hydraulic pipe connected to the Xantia sx 2000 cc ‌suspension rear height adjustment valve.What is ‌‌ the reason of using this wire?

Yes , the wire is inside the hydraulic pipe, I think is there to reduce the amount of lhm fluid flowing through the pipe thus increasing the pressure.

When I replaced the pipe with no wire and I didn't notice any difference in the hydraulics.

Somebody (I think it was Mandrake) suggested that the wire might help smooth out the fluid flow, eliminating the pulses generated by the LHM pump.
