Hi
I have removed a faulty fuel injector from my 2014 3008 1.6HDi and now have to replace it with a new one. I have an online manual but unfortunately I cannot find the torque setting for the injector clamp. The injector is a Continental and I found the following post on this site relative to another Peugeot which says it should be 7Nm plus 90 deg. Will it be the same for my car?

During re assembly is there anything I should be particularly careful about.
Thanks in advance for any info
Graham

Re: Fuel injector replacement Peugeot 3008
Torque settings are specific to each engine Graham and that info I put up was specific to the DV6TED as fitted to that vehicle. But there's no mention in my link of 90° - only 80° for the Bolts (Diesel Injector Fixing Flange).
I may have the info you need, but you'll need to put your VIN up.

Re: Fuel injector replacement Peugeot 3008
Hi Marc
Thanks for the reply
The VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I have a couple of other questions. I bought a new injector and have measured the thickness of the copper crush washer as 2.1mm thick and 15.00mm in diameter using a caliper. I also removed a second injector for comparison and I have to replace the crush washer for this. I have two new crush washers that I could use with this injector however I have just discovered that one is 2.00mm thick and 15.6mm in diameter and the other is 2.2mm thick and 13.5mm in diameter. Can I use one of these? Or is the 2.1mm thickness and 15mm diameter critical?
The other question is the clamp bolts. They look quite robust (M8) do I need to replace them as I understand they are stretch bolts?
Thanks for your assistance

Re: Fuel injector replacement Peugeot 3008
Hi Marc
Thanks for taking the time to look into this.
Am I missing something because I can't see the injector bolt torque. The torque settings above seem to be for the sump and oil pump etc.
All the best
Graham

No, it's not you it's me being a numpty - I was doing something else and put up the torque settings for the oil as you say
Leave it with me and I'll sort it - apologies for that....
Edit: I've replaced the image and the Torque data for the Injection system now.
