C5 fuel tank hoses connectors

Unread post by atr »

Hi
Attached a picture of the fuel tank (petrol) of my C5 2010. I would like to ask how the hoses connectors - the ones with the green and white locks can be removed from the fuel tank's cover nipples? what are the green and white markings for? I guess that one is the output of the fuel pump and the other is "back line" but which is what? I've tried to push the little triangle, assuming that it will release the connector but it seems that it's done otherwise.
Thanx for your help and stay well.

Just press in the lugs on the two sides in and pull the connector off. A pair of pointed nose pliers may help, I don't have enough strength in my fingers, you will see the small plastic blocks if you look closely. Don't know which is which I'm afraid.

No, unfortunately not, at least not that I've been able to see, only the green & white lines made with some sort of a marker.
