C5 II 5 DOOR SALOON 1.6 HDi 110 particle emission filter (DV6TED4) Manual gearbox 5
Hi Guys, I've now accumulated 2(one of them is for parts) of these cars, and the one i drive has a few small problems.
Its needs a turbo and windscreen washer bottle and pump.
Any easy ways of removing and replacing these myself, maybe someone has a step by step already?
Thanks again for all the help

Re: Turbo, Winscreen Washer and pump
The turbo is not too bad - the extra room in the C5 means there is enough room to get the heat shield off without having to remove the radiator.
Washer bottle will almost certainly entail getting the bumper off....

Wonder if the bottle pump and bottle split, maybe the pump on the bottle might be easier got off? Would you know off hand?RichardW wrote: 03 Mar 2020, 12:13 The turbo is not too bad - the extra room in the C5 means there is enough room to get the heat shield off without having to remove the radiator.

Re: Turbo, Winscreen Washer and pump
There's no procedure as such, but as you don't have headlamp washers, you should be able to gain access through the driver side wheel arch without removing the bumper. You'll obviously have to remove the wheel and the arch lining to get at it.
Here is the layout, pump is (6) as you probably already know.

Yes, it just pulls out if it is the same as mine.
I split the bottle when I did that though
Bought a replacement from eBay and of course it was incorrect.
Sanitary silicone to the rescue
Still OK four years on.

Re: Turbo, Winscreen Washer and pump
Grand job lads, Got sorted didn't need the bottle out, just the pump, Swapped them over and all is good again, Little bit of extra sealant around the pump, and no leaks so far.
Thanks.

Looks tricky, You ever done it? take long to swap them out, and if i am swapping them out what all "new parts" would i require?
Any thing that i might not have to remove to swap over turbo?
Thanks again

Just make sure you replace all the seals and parts as stated in the procedure.
