Front passenger door not locking/unlocking with remote

I am having an issue for the last couple of months with the front passenger door, it doesn't lock or unlock with the remote however locks and unlocks fine with the key.

Is this a solinoid issue and requires a new door locking mechanism?

The key works because it is manually operating the mechanism. You may have a wiring issue or the solenoid as you say. Check inside the protective wiring hose between the bulkhead and the door to see if any of the wires are cut.

Does it lock when the car starts moving and unlock with the interior "lock " button on the dash.
I believe the 2 systems remote and the interior button are separate but the wiring loom for both runs where Marc says.
I had an issue on an older C4 that would lock everything from the inside and out but allow the drivers door to be opened from the outside when locked.
If it works on the interior button suggest solenoid ok so wiring issue
