Good evening all!
Have missing pieces of the lcd for cabin temperature. Is this possible to fix without replacing the whole board which also has the dials and buttons?

No, these are complete modules with no user serviceable parts. If you’ve checked the electrical connection to the plugs then you will probably need a replacement unit.

Maybe Simon in Somerset can fix them ? He seems very popular with C6 clusters

He's in Sweden Alasdair
The C6 instrument clusters were well-known to fail - but I think the Climate panel is pretty much a new unit.

If it's the same as the one I took apart on this thread:
viewtopic.php?p=576809
Then they're surprisingly disassembleable (is that a word ?). I've still got the old one in the garage if some advanced level butchery is needed

Sadly no longer a C5 owner

Thanks for the replies!
Ok, so first thing to do is to check the status of the connectors, and maybe clean a bit. If this does not help I might have a look at the seamingly disassemblable panel and see how complicated it seems. From just now reading out a bit on lcd panels, missing pieces can be a result of bad connections.
