Vehicle idendification

Unread post by Mcmadjock »

Hi everybody. New to this site as I've been stitched up by my missus to buy her a converted Relay 35 van which is now a horsebox. Just had it put through an MOT, which it passed but with a couple of advisories. Its going to need brake pads front and rear in the very near future and upon searching it comes up with various options for the front and rear pads. The variants are 12Q-14Q-16Q or 20Q.
My question is how do you identify the different variants .

The van is a 2012 model RELAY 35 L3H2 ENTERPRISE HDI. . There is nothing about these variants on the log book.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Welcome along!

If you post up the VIN (Which will hide itself) we can look up and get the OE part numbers for the fitted pads, which you can cross reference to aftermarket ones.

Thanks Richard
The VIN is
VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
Just out of interest, do you know what the variants stand for

Cheers

Front brakes are showing as 280mm dia x 28mm thick:

Number Description Quantity Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT Total incl. VAT Selection
00004249K2 BRAKE DISC 1 109.36 GBP 131.23 GBP 131.23 GBP

1623842480 4 BRAKE PADS/F 1 82.76 GBP 99.31 GBP 99.31 GBP

Rear brakes 280 x 16 thick

Part Number Description Quantity Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT Total incl. VAT Selection
0000422835 DISC FIX SCREW 4 3.51 GBP 4.21 GBP 16.84 GBP

1611140880 4 BRAKE PADS/R 1 71.92 GBP 86.30 GBP 86.30 GBP

00004249K7 BRAKE DISC 2 104.42 GBP 125.30 GBP 250.60 GBP

Not suggesting you buy them from Citroen but at least that gives you the part nos!!

No idea what the designations refer to, yours is listed as 'Type 16' so I would assume that relates to the 16Q bit, but I could be wrong....!

Hi and :welc: to the forum.
I believe the Q numbers relate to the load carrying of the van. The bigger the number the higher the load so I would have thought a medium range for a horsebox!! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
