Hi all got a citroen c3 1.6 fitted with the sensodrive auto system. Car is my sisters in laws and is lovely tidy clean motor.
Issue was it started to bunny hop. Jerk and then kepted getting the auto light flashing and the snow flake.
My thinking aa clutch actuator. Did diagnostics on it with lexia and it did confirm that there was a issue with the communication.
However he issue has now developed were it jerks and wont select gears and now wont start at all.
Lexia dinostic and now it cant find the gearbox ECU.
My thinking is the gearbox ecu is the problem all along. I've checked the fuss there all good and I've cleaned all the plugs and still nothing.
Took battery off now to leave to power down and see what happens.
Anyone else come across this as I think it's the gearbox ECU?

Re: Citroen c3 sensodrive issue
Hi, and
to the Forum. The bad news is that the Sensodrive gearbox has a reputation (that it has earned) for being problematic and expensive to repair. It is, in effect, an manual gearbox with robotic actuators. I know of a Forum member who had a car with such a gearbox; it cost about £1,000 to get the problems sorted but he had lost all trust in the car, so he sold it. Less than a year later the person he sold it to had it up for sale as "Spares or Repairs".
