Hi ,
Have recently bought a 2006 C3 decided to buy an original Blaupunt CD changer to put in place of the centre cubby and stupid me expected it to plug in and play
seems that the CD changer option has to be activated in Lexia is a RD4 head unit, anyone know of anywhere that can activate this other than main dealer in Newcastle upon Tyne area? Thanks in advance

Re: CD changer
Before you get too carried away about activating it, did you also check you have the correct CD Changer? These have to be compatible with the car's architecture. Bosch made the ones for the C3 II. What is your VIN and I'll check.

Re: CD changer
Ok, so your C3 has full CAN multiplexing so these were the Blaupunkt units - so hopefully you'll be good to go.
The PSA part number is: 6564RK
But they also did a reconditioned unit using this part number: 16074886XT.
So searching on ebay or elsewhere on these numbers should confirm you have the right one.

Re: CD changer
So here's a compatible unit for £25 (collection in Upminster) - but you may be able to contact the seller to arrange an additional PayPal payment if you can convince him to post it for you possibly?
This one will obviously have a different serial number stamped into the unit, but is the same unit.
