Post by johntom »

Hi
I have a 2008 Peugeot expert which needs some PAS fluid, what type do I need as I don’t have the handbook ?
Many thanks

It may have a bag - post up the VIN and we can check. There's a useful chart in this thread: Re: C5 Eolys Question. which shows the change over to different additives; yours is probably DPX 42. You can use the generic PAT fluid stuff, which is a bit cheaper than the genuine stuff. You need Diagbox to put the light out.

Ha ha....duh teach me not to read properly!!

Doesn't have a DPF, lucky there!

PAS fluid should be marked on the top of the tank.

Hi
I can’t see any fluid recommend on there, just ‘direction steering assistance’ on the lid and ‘min/max’ marks on the resovoir.

Orange in colour?
Total Fluide DA most likely as you have electric power steering in your van.
