Am i in trouble here faulty diagnostic port
Is this a sign of a bad ecu my diagnostic port doesn't work I've checked fuse that's OK which I knew because it actually turns the machine on but will not connect it says unable to link with vehicle check ignition etc I've also tried unplugging various sensors which I saw as a poss problem on a YouTube vid but to no avail but I do have the traction control light on (car with the two lines) and a handbreak light coming on once I start to drive any ideas welcome but I think this c2 is more trouble than its worth only had it 10 days and I'm ;£400 deep into it for parts and labour the original idea was a cheap car to run lol

Your post doesn't make the most sense if you read it back.
However, if you connect to the obd & it powers the Diagbox machine, then the plug is usually ok .
What tool are you using ?
I would auggest trying a completely different one.
If you are using a simple scanner, it won't connect with the abs anyway.
Have you checked the brake fluid level ?
It needs to be very full to keep the red handbrake warning lamp off.

Yes sorry if it sounds a bit muddled but it powers up but says unable to link with car the tester works on our 2010 astra so I know this works I've looked into it and found it could be a earth problem in pin 3 or 5 I think it was because we are getting power but no link
