Hello all,
well i've decided that the fault listed above is due to a fault in the pressure regulation valve..
what i wanted to find out is
1. is the pressure valve and the converter lock up valve the same
2. Do i need to refill the auto transmission oil as recommended by the website Listed below
3. Should i just ignore since the issue is rare, and the transmission works fine in all areas of drive- city, hills, etc.
Never had the snow , sport triangle light flashing....
Just a knock , a jerk and the PRND light on rare occasions.
I believe someone here had a similar issue but theirs was more complicated...
I have included a pic of the parts i'm referring to.

I forgot to ask, is upgrading the ECU necessary? Im using a real Lexia/Diagbox PP but never upgraded any ECUs.

That is now Mobil LT171141. Same stuff, different branding. Can be hard to get and is quite expensive but the only one suitable for certain boxes.
