Middle one is the Alarm/Central Locking ECU, bottom one is the Cooling Fan Controller ECU...

All for an S1.. Top one I'm not 100% sure of. Was it mounted in the driver's door? If not, where was it?

Number one looks like a CPH module from a mk 2.
Again where was it located & what do the connections look like?

The top one looks similar to the c/l ECU from my old XM. That was under the glovebox.

Will give you the impression that it's the alarm recieving unit (number 1)
It's familiar, I think I found one under the passenger seat.

If you have the plips that go with 2 keep them all together. They are repairable but it's far easier to swap the ECU and use the pre paired plips. Ecu2 is where the plip code is stored.

There's s thread in clubxm that suggests it's the alarm receiver.
Unfortunately I can only read the Google blurb, clubxm won't let me in.
