Re: Wiring harness behind glove box
It is very possible that, on YOUR car, that plug is not used. Citroen (and other manufacturers) will only have a couple of wiring looms per model range. This helps them to save on production costs. For example, I know that, on my C5, there is the wiring in place for a CD multi-changer and heated/powered seats. However, I have neither fitted into my car (although they may well have been optional extras for her spec, and were standard equipment in higher spec models).

It would help if you mentioned what car you have, model and trim level or even better the VIN, so we can help identify the plug. I'll assume it's the Xsara in the profile though - what's your trim level?

Or if you look at some of the wires, there should be a 4 or 5 digit code on them - posting a few of them will help too.

Yes, got that, but where you are holding the wires in the picture, there are 4 or 5 digit codes on the wires by your thumb. I can’t make them out, but if you can list a few of those codes if will help me identify the purpose of the plug

Re: Wiring harness behind glove box
Im 99% sure that plug is for the alarm ECU which an LX model almost certainly wont have.
