Xantia rear suspension leak

Hi, my S1 Xantia has a leak on the rear suspension cylinder . The rubber boot has perished .... now leaking from the cylinder ! Anyone know where I can get any spare parts ? is it citroen only ? many thanks in advance Terry.

Rare for the "cylinder" to leak....are you sure it is not just the leak off pipe has broken/detached ?

yes its the cylinder........the pipes are ok

I think the rubber boot has perished....... resulting in the cylinders' seal to leak !!

I think you're probably looking at a used unit or a repair from someone like pleides.

Part 3 ?.....the two pipes are return pipes....how much "flow/leak" of LHM are you getting ? Large puddle or small puddle ?

The car is up on Ramps and depressurised, wheels off the rear.

Yes..... is saturday morning ok ? and how much would you like for it ? If your R P number is after 06779 . then the seals are available ! mine is before What a lot of nonesense !

Hi Terry, I can empathise with your struggles with the pin. You'll probably have to destroy it to get it out. This thread might help.
