Hello again to all.

Is there still someone on the forum who can get the 4 digit Key Codes for Citroens and Peugeots , by using the VIN ?

I don't think the member who used to do it (The Birdman) is active any more - he used to have a website, and that is off line too. So, Google search, or off to the dealer!

Hello , the code worked and we coded both keys.

However, its not a key problem with our car as the key symbol is still lit.

Its a BSI to ECU connection fault............

I suggest you get it from Citroen - for security purposes if nothing else. They will only charge you £25 tops, sometimes less and for that you can get your customer confidential code, the key blade code etc., for the same charge. Plus you know it is secure.

£30 for each of our cars earlier this year.

Yup. It was £20 ten years ago for my Mk1 C5.

Thanks for the advice Folks, I have indeed approached a friendly specialist and am waiting for them to come back to me with the codes. Seems to be a fair bit cheaper than the 30 quid quoted to others here. I will update you later on if we are successful and the final price etc.

Update time, got the codes sorted out for the xantia. It was, in the end 36 quid all in. Which isn’t too bad. Thanks to everyone who got in touch and helped
