Washer fluid level is technically a basic but required warning and isn't configurable much like brake pressure loss or engine overheating.

If it is anything like the X7's electronics, then the washing level sensors goes to the BSM under the hood ... if you would take out just one wire from the related connector, it should fool the car into thinking that the washing liquid is never empty (the sensors reports low level only, closing the circuit) ...

I didn't want to suggest hammer and tongs approach - just causes headache for next owner (or not) :)

No hammers required, a flat screwdriver to take out a single pin connector ... the hammer approach would be to simply cut the single wire before it reaches the pin connector ... :D

Re sensors. One of my tyres had a metal cap and it sheared off when I removed it and when I came home from the garage who fitted a reg valve I threw the old sensor away.............I know, I know.....so I need a complete new one. Any ideas where I can get a cheap replacement or can I disable the bongs and "service" note on the dash.

I've had all the valves in my car that has TPMS replaced with standard ones and the TPMS disabled via Lexia.

Lexia is a diagnostic software that's used to maintain the car ... today you can't do a service on a PSA car without it ... that's standard Dealer/Service equipment

Look in this thread for members with Lexias who would be prepared to run a diagnostic for you.
