Leak!!!!

Unread post by KennyW »

Hi All,

A leak has started from the matrix hose plastic housing at bulk head.

Can't see where as its behind matrix hose.

I think I shall glue into place.

NO Kenny, dont glue it, because of you ever need to do the matrix you will never get the pipes out, they can be hard as it is and often break off!!

Thanks Paul,
After Christmas I will have a look at the problem. I hope it's not the matrix. I might be able to glue the crack and change the piping so it doesn't happen again.

Hi All,

The leak would appear to be a poor seal between matrix and hoses. The rubber o rings were not in the matrix housing but on the plastic insert.

Will get new seals and try again.

I think it was engine vibration and I had smeared a little grease onto o rings.

They combination of both as resulted in pipes moving and thus the leak.
