Which gasket goo?

Post by Jaf »

Hi folks. I'm half way through cambelt/ cam cover gasket/ cam seal/ water pump/ crankshaft seal change. Not going too badly but I'm not sure about this inlet pipe, there's no gasket but does look like old gasket goo. If its a rubber seal it's very, very knackered. Blue goo ok?

Thanks!

Any goo that is friendly to sensors will do. It tells on the tube.
If no sensors up or downstream then no worries what you use. Any old RTV.
