The engine could not start because of the key light on dashboard. Then, I replaced the battery as some said on the web. But the light comes again yesterday and engine could not run.
I would suggest you get hold of the security code (you may have the card with the car, otherwise a visit to Peugeot may be in order, with proof of ownership), and then do a little digging. It might (only might, not definitely) be possible to (once you have a blade cut for it) code a second hand key to the car. This was possible on Xantias, but NOT possible on the C5. If somebody has a Lexia system they can help. Normally a new key, coded to the car, can set you back around £150! Once you have a spare key you can breathe more easily.

This happened to a friend of mine with a Peugeot 407. The transponder chip inside the cheap had broken free from the PCB. I resoldered it with a very very fine tipped soldering iron and it never gave any problems again
It comes back again. A good thing was it came during the car was in home.
Then, I plugged the car with PPS and try to re-program it but PPS said the code is incorrect.
I took the code from security card which are four capital english letters.
