Xantia - Differences between engine mount bushes

Hi

I have a Xantia 16V (RFV ) automatic make year 2000. I need to replace the engine mounting bush. The problem is that it is NFP.

I found on eBay one with Citroen catalog number is 182732 and it is for Xantia TURBO DIESEL DW10TD
Citroen catalog number for the engine mounting bush in my car is 96171997 ( NFP )

Can one tell me what are the differences ( I am sure there are ) ?

You don't say which of the engine mounting bushes this is; nor which auto-box is fitted (relevant if you're talking about either the bush beside the differential or that at the end of the gearbox.

Hi

The auto box is AL4. The it is the mount bush that is at the right side of the engine. It's is not the bush that is attached to the AL4

I've just had a look on service.citroen for you. Interestingly, this bush is only used for both auto-boxes on 3 engines: -

• XU10J4R and BVA,
  XUD9TE and BVA
  XU7JP4 and BVA

BVA = Boite de Vitesses Automatique (automatic gearbox)

I'm surprised that nobody seems to supply this (Right-hand side) bush. If all else fails, you could contact Elastomer.eu and see if they will refurbish the bush for you (it's not listed, but they do XM and CX mounts).
