RPO number

Unread post by Roen »

Can anyone help tell where to locate the RPO number on a 2004 Xsara?
The sticker on the door post just has the model version printed on it "2.0HDi" - helpful or what haha!

Thanks Stickyfinger I believe the post is for an earlier version of the Xsara. Couldn't find the code in the places it suggested!

It should be on the door sticker, but if not, post up the last 8 digits of the VIN and I'll look it up on service.citroen

PS - it's the sticker on the A piller you need to look at, the one with the tyre pressures on it. It will be an alpha numeric string - 5 numbers plus 2 letters - it's the numbers you are interested in, the letters give the factory it was built in.

if you still post the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. we can get you your cars birth certificate,

this not only give you the rp No. but also engine/box codes/types trim/paint colour/codes and much more

Thanks Citronut for the offer.
I bought a workshop manual online that runs on my laptop and appears to be Citroen based; you put in the VIN number and can view the characteristics of the car inc the RPO number and a heap load more info should I ever need it. So I guess it was worth the 12,99€

I have Torque on my phone that connect with OBDII but seams a bit generic in results
