Citron C5 Suspension Issue

Unread post by Craig-s »

Hi

I have a 2004 Citroen C5 VTR. It runs perfectly well apart from the last two days or so. When I am driving it for around half an hour, the rear suspension seems to jump up without warning. It then goes to back to normal then after ten minutes or so jumps up again. I have never experienced this before. I am taking it to a garage on Monday but wondered if this is something that is a common problem

Thanks,

Craig

On the XMs and Xantia's it was usually due to the height corrector sticking but have not experienced any problems with mine yet so don't really know.

My best guess based on similar but not the same problems would be the rear height sensor.

I knew I had read about this somewhere! The pictures have been lost, but it would appear the problem is the solder joins;
