Until some one more knowledgeable comes along:
If you can do it on a Lexia, usual thing is to post where you are, a lot of FCF members have Lexias and are willing to lend their services.
On Xantias you could move the fitting clamp round on the roll bar. Car could drop like a stone for a small adjustment so you can't go underneath without axle stands etc.
Personally I think you're right re the Lexia though.

Try drowning it in PlusGas repeatedly over a couple of days, should be able to shift it after that.

Thanks mate ive used WD-40 and left it a hour or so and it looks like its moving.. anyone know whitch way to go with the u clamp to lower the suspension i understand you only need to move it a tad.. and also someone said becrefull as the ecu always tells the pump to lower the suspension at 70mph so not to go to low

thanks

Plus Gas makes WD40 look a wimp. WD40 was never designed as a freeing agent, it is a water dispersant (hence WD).

WD40 now make a freeing agent oil. It's easier to find than plus gas and about half the price. it works too. .

There is now a WD release oil.
I know because I have some.
Sent my son to buy Plus Gas this afternoon and he came back with the WD, said they (Halfords) didn't have it.

I suspect I have the dreaded trailing arm bearing sickness and the car is going for MOT and fixitation on Monday so have started dousing the R-clips with it.
Too early to say if it is any good.
