The berlingo is running faultlessly, all I've had to do is replace the rear tyres so it now has a full set of matching avon zt5's. On another note there maybe an Italian joining the fleet, watch this space.

Of course you can Mark. Blogs on any very interesting cars are permitted here An Alfa is both a very interesting car and one that will make an interesting blog so go for it

Well the blingo has been on its first long run out taking in Scarborough and Whitby. It performed great and even achieved 57mpg. It really is a very comfy thing to do a few miles in but I really do miss the power of my old laguna even though the blingo is more than adequate it's just the odd.time when overtaking when I wish I was in the Renault, the overtaking capabilities were very impressive. I also recently enquired about the Zx's in the for sale section and I will be hearing back from the seller when he Mot's the volcane, he says the 16v is more a project but in pretty good order. My only issue with the volcane is that it has been welded in a few places and I know how bad some Zx's can rot so that really is something to bear in mind, my old 16v had never been welded and really was a solid old car. I may have a run over in a couple of weeks to check both these out. My other option would be a V6 xantia but the thoughts of getting a bad one really does worry me, there's one for sale in the Citroenian at the minute and one on the bay, I also know of one local to me in Sheffield which a Citroen specialist looks after which is allegedly very nice, whether they could be persuaded to part with it I'm not sure?

I also owned that one after Chris It was a nice car but I found the steering so very heavy in it. The S2 I had was much lighter to drive, unbelievably so.

Nothing to report on the blingo, it's doing its job faultlessly. Just had the roofbars fully loaded with timber for a job, it's certainly more reassuring than having to load the laguna up. Plans for the future may possibly be a remap/dpf delete?

The blingo will soon be doing a monthly run down to Rugely Staffordshire as I've volunteered as a dog walker. Since we lost our border collie a few months ago I've not known what to do with myself, she used to go everywhere with me. There was no chance of every getting to the garage without her to wash the cars or simply just potter about. The wife and me are going down on the 30th for a h&s/induction and then it will be every third Monday in the month, it will do the blingo good as it only does 8 miles per day, I'll keep a check on the mpg but hopefully it should be in the late 50's which I will be very happy with. I'm off to halfords now to get a satnav so I'll be ready for next week.
