No Surprise a CX is Comfy!

Seriously - about TEN INCHES of foam.

(I was scrapping a CX bench, and cut it up for ease of disposal.)

Noted also, the rear seat is nearly identical in width to a Xantia unit.

No Surprise a CX is Comfy!

I have set a new high point today.

In a flock of bats, installing car park wheel stops (the blocks made of recycled tyres that stop you bumping into the wall of a car parking bay). So... One car is not complying; has not been moved. Out shuffles the owner's flatmate "Sorry, I don't know where the keys are, and the battery's flat anyhow". He shuffles back inside again. I get the boot open, dive into the cabin, open the driver's door, then pop the lid. Out with the battery, battery tray and off with the gearshift cable - car no longer stuck in park and rolls nicely out my way. I reassembled and continued with my official work - leaving the owners' committee secretary gobsmacked.

I have before dragged a badly parked car using the rangie in low range :) surprising how easy it is really but i'd imagine a 4x4 left in park or FWD auto with handbrake on would be a little hard :)

Quite a few years ago I came back to my BX to find it boxed in (about 2" space each end), and somebody grinning from a window. However, the BX was a 1.9 NA diesel, and with a little bit of care I managed to open up the gaps and pull out. I was grinning :-D :-D :-D, and he looked stunned    , as both cars were bigger than the BX. Next time I parked in that road nobody tried to be prats.

Many many years ago, having passed her driving test, a female work workmate became the proud owner of one of the original Fiat 500's. Being so light it was quite easy for 2 people to lift it completely. She often returned to her car to find it parked in some very odd places!
