I have set a new high point today.
In a flock of bats, installing car park wheel stops (the blocks made of recycled tyres that stop you bumping into the wall of a car parking bay). So... One car is not complying; has not been moved. Out shuffles the owner's flatmate "Sorry, I don't know where the keys are, and the battery's flat anyhow". He shuffles back inside again. I get the boot open, dive into the cabin, open the driver's door, then pop the lid. Out with the battery, battery tray and off with the gearshift cable - car no longer stuck in park and rolls nicely out my way. I reassembled and continued with my official work - leaving the owners' committee secretary gobsmacked.
