Check for compatibility, but if you get a good layer of the Hydrate 80 down, it should be suitable to overseal with a brushable stone chip coating. Ideally, three coats with adequate drying between...

In my recent experience, "adequate drying between" in the UK is 24 hrs in a warm ventilated place for the first coat, then 36-48 hours between coats. Of course, if we get what passes for a heatwave in the UK (nudging 25°C) next week.... Not a good idea to leave it outside - you'd be amazed how much cr4p the slightest puff of wind swirls around close to the ground.
