Re: c5 dmf or not
Yes. It's still a 3 part clutch - the DMF is on TOP of that....and not cheap at that

Re: c5 dmf or not
As Richard has said, yes it does. Every diesel C5 has a DMF, unfortunately!

Re: c5 dmf or not
Well generally the 1.6hdi in all the PSA vehicles is the worst to do, however in the C5 you MIGHT be a bit better off because the larger car MIGHT allow you to get the front heatshield off ok. As you can guess I've not actually done one, but I have done the 1.6hdi on Picasso, P307 and they are a real pig. Firstly you cant get the heatshield off. When you have eventually managed to bend, hammer and drag it off you have to undo the turbo downpipe. Then you find you have to remove the downpipe fixing bracket and then you can..... oh no you can't you have to remove the stud that holds the bracket so that you can undo the ONE bellhousing bolt that fits right to left. This bolt doesn't ever go back! Of course the advantage may be that this engine comes mated to a BE4 type gearbox which will drop out easy enough. I really hate these because you feel some idiot designer sitting in his little office decided to put a single bolt round the other way, changing 30 years of design practice. Rant over!

Re: c5 dmf or not
Seems quite involved!
When I had the clutch done on my 2.0HDi 16v the subframe had to come down. Not a job I was wanting to do so it was farmed out.

Nah, it's possible without. Tiiiiiight though
The placing of the PAS return pipe is ludicrous though.....
