Where's the clock on the 03 C5 hdi?

And what watt should they (3 bulbs) be, I know they're capless, I got 3 in Maplins the other day but they're very dim and you can hardly see it......but...

Where's the clock on this car

....it has got one I take it, is it suppose to be where the date ect is, if so how is it turned on

I'm not sure on watt of bulbs, I have just replaced like for like in the past but can't remember what they were now.m

The clock should always be visible ... So I'm not sure where yours is! It should be at the top right of the eventual display. Have you tried to set it in the menu? However, even in-set, it should still display

What spec is yours, LX?

Yes it's the LX

So i should see it, on mine just now, i've got the date (when the radio's off) and temp gauge, and the radio and temp gauge when driving, no sign of a clock.....i'll have a bugger about with tomorow

The LX has a smaller display than the other trim levels, which might explain this. I've not been in an LX so I'm not sure how the display works. Do you press the end of the wiper stalk which cycles throug date and time?

@ wheeler.....the original......i know aftermarkets usually wipe a display off

If this thing hasnt got one i'll be shocked, it's the first in years, i mean even my basic Astra 15 years ago had one!

All C5s had a clock from new, wether its working now is another thing

yes, try the button on the wiper stalk, i bet that'll bring the clock round ...

Clock is displayed top right of the info display centre dash, it should show even when you cycle through the options on the control stalk. An aftermarket radio makes no difference you only loose the radio/cd display not the time.

Not on an LX with smaller central screen it doesn't.

Yes when you press the end of the stock it's on the right side of the screen, it comes on with date and doesnt stay on, it goes back to the temp gauge

You are having the temperature displayed permanently because of the current weather conditions.Mine is the same once it reaches a temperature of 4 degrees and above the time will be permanently displayed

I've not looked into it properly as have never had an LX, however, I believe it does. There is a thread on here about fitting it, iirc, it's as simple as that.

I remember with the xsara that it was possible to simply plug in the larger screen and it would work, id imagine its the same for the c5, sam
