cheap key cutting

Post by john »

i changed the lock on my 'lingo a while back, the set i got only came with 1 key however, ive now decided to get a spare cut just incase, ive still got the transponder chip from my "original spare" so just need a blade with a bit for holding the chip.

anyone know somewhere cheap that could supply and cut the key?

Some high street locksmiths can do the job. If they carry blanks then they should be OK to cut them. I take it the 'Lingo uses the same cruciform key as other Citroens of the era...

I had a spare Xantia key successfully cut by our local locksmith even if he did declare he hated doing them!!!

think it's a similar key, perhaps I should have mentioned the locks got changed and it now has a pug partners locks, similar if not identical setup to the Citroen though.
