Sometimes both the additional brake light switch and the clutch switch are there and all that is needed is the the stalk and a Lexia to tell the ECUs that it is present.

Yours being a 2003 might have the second brake light switch. I fitted cruise to my previous C5, a 2004 2.0HDi VTR, which had the switch already fitted. All I did was get a cruise stalk, cut the notch in the column surround and enable the cruise function in the two menus with a Lexia.

Im not sure of the part number, however I think mine was around £30.

The cruise stalk for the earlier C5 is different from the C5II. You want the one which says on/off, rather than the one which says speed limiter/cruise control. Apparently the newer one will work (without the limiter function), but im really not sure of this, your best to get the correct one.

Edit: I must have been asleep, what with all those typos!

MK1 part number is 6242 Z9, Mk2 is 6242 Z8 Cit prices are £55 for Mk1 and £65 for Mk2. This one on the bay would appear to be the right one.

That is more than I remember mine being, it was over two years ago though.

I would start with the stalk and using a lexia to set the cruise. If it doesnt work you'll need a second brake switch, but you wont need to enable the cruise again once fitted.

There is certainly one in the injector menu, which is the one which had me stuck originally as I didnt think to look in there.

The other is in the BSi menu, I think!

There is definitely two, which might explain why yours is not working yet :)
