Can the V6 Xantia take any kind of roofbars? I have two sets which fit the xantia estate with t track.
Citroen C5 1.6 HDI 110bhp Estate 06 plate

no Lexi V6 (hatch) needs the hatch roofbars (unless you have a V6 estate, I think these exist.. >)
roofbars are different to estate ones, they have 4 brackets that screw in above the doors into the roof, and (on mine at least) the bars clamp to the brackets..
I leave my clamps in all the time and add bars when I need them.. also makes it handy finding the xant in a busy car park

Hi Lexi,
If you peel back the gutter strips above the doors, you'll see these:

This is where the brackets screw into.
If the car has never had a roofrack fitted, you may see this:

If the protective caps have deteriorated, it can cause a water leak into the car...
As John says, bespoke roof bars are needed...

Ah Right!. Thank you gents. Any pic of what the bar looks like at the attach ment point?.............could I fabricate a bracket onto my estate bars?
