RPO number help please

Post by steviewonder7 »

Hi folks,

Just a quickie........I havent quite fathomed out where the RP number for my car is stamped/painted/ stickered exactly.Ive looked in the drivers handbook and it doesnt appear to mention its location. Its not easy like the old Xantia was/is.
What i did find on the drivers side door arch nearby the footwell was a sticker that had the following:-

09510FV
EKQD
20104

Does anyone know what the sticker refers to?
Considering my car was registered in August 2003 would the sticker marry up?

It is supposedly a Four Digit number but I'm damned if I can find one on my car - I have photographed all the numbers on mine and as far as I can see the one you quoted appears to be the most likely one.
Mine is:

Only one that I can find that comes anywhere close :(

Yes , mine appears to look similar to the bottom sticker of the two you've shown in your pic.

You've already got the answer and here's some more :)
9510 --> Production date is 22 November 2002 (from Citroen Orga Calculator)
EKQ --> is the paint code. You car's called "Wicked Red" (you might need this also some day)

Later ones are five digit as the number of days is now over 10,000 since 9th November 1976, which was day 1.

Thanks :)
That ties in reasonably well with the date on the headlights - 15th July 2002 13:28 - a bit more precision than really needed there!

Trying to find this on my mobile skip (2000 reg C15 panel van), but can I find it? Can I heck. Should be around 8500

Awaiting Citroen's support via VIN number but not having much luck getting a response from them either.

Finally got it. as 8579. But didn't help much as the clutch cable I wanted cheaper than £36 + VAT is Citroen only part according to at least 3 independents. Ho hum!!
