C5 Lighting problems

Post by JohnD »

Got a problem with the lighting on my C5. When the lighting switch is turned to the first position:
Numberplate light on, dashboard is lit and the 'lights on' sounder is working.
But both sidelights are off.
Both rear light are off.

A lighting board plugged into 12N socket gives lit rear lamps.
Headlights work both manually and on auto. Also with the wipers.

Surely all four bulbs can't have blown? Some help would be much appreciated.

The switch & the BSI are obviously working ok so I know it seems unlikely but bulbs really need to be the first things to check & the feed going to them then take it from there.
The bulbs may have failed on by one but you just did'nt notice ?

Thanx Wheeler. I'll start checking. Can't wait to do the front ones.
