C5 heated front seats

Having successfully solved one problem through this forum this week, can anyone help to pinpoint a problem with the heated driver's seat in my 2003 C5 estate 2.2hdi? The passenger one works fine but the driver's one has ceased to function. Any thoughts?

No but I will follow this thread with interest as I have the same problem

My suspicion is that it is a failure of the heating element itself as the drivers seat elements must always be under some degree of mechanical stress.

Speaking for myself as current owner definitely the later

however it was "broke" when I purchased the car, so it weren't me guv don't know about the previous owners
