C5 heated front seats

Having successfully solved one problem through this forum this week, can anyone help to pinpoint a problem with the heated driver's seat in my 2003 C5 estate 2.2hdi? The passenger one works fine but the driver's one has ceased to function. Any thoughts?

No but I will follow this thread with interest as I have the same problem :-)

My suspicion is that it is a failure of the heating element itself as the drivers seat elements must always be under some degree of mechanical stress.

I agree, Cachaciero! But mechanical stress or just plain weight ...!

Speaking for myself as current owner definitely the later :-)
however it was "broke" when I purchased the car, so it weren't me guv don't know about the previous owners :-)
