Not really Allan, you can but then it is either dead calm or Hurricane Pierre in the cabin with nothing in between
Remind me (or my old, forgetful brain) what tests you have so far carried out and the results of them.. Briefly, check for voltage arriving at the blower from the supply (thick red and black wires) and if there is any voltage (the speed control voltage) arriving from the climate ECU to the speed controller module.

blower motor
Jim, thanks for the e-mail about the blower Iam beginning to think that this is too technical for me anyway I took the plug out of the motor and took a reading between the Red & Black wire which was 12.18 volts engine stopped I then took a reading engine running it was 14.0 volts I then took a reading between Orange & Black wire engine running it was 1.3 voltsTam afraid that this means nothing to me so is there a way of making it easier for me. Thanks
Allan

Blower going full whack all the time? I had this on my Xsara under warranty (they replaced the whole blower) and then it did the same again just out of warranty and I fixed it myself after finding the instructions here.
First can you confirm the module attached to your fan looks like this?
If so you need 2 MJ11015 transistors (The round silver things in the picture). If you can't find any anywhere else I got mine here http://www.rapidonline.com/searchresult ... kw=MJ11015 (Ignore the picture in the link, they are the same shape as in (clogzz album) picture above). There was a £5 delivery charge. The original transistors are not marked MJ11015 but this is a direct replacement.
You will also need 4 bolts & nuts to replace the rivets you will have to drill out, some heat sink paste and a soldering iron. If you don't think you are up to the job yourself (It's not that hard and we can talk you through it) then get the replacement transistors and take them and the module to your local independent TV repair shop.
Failing that you could get the new transistors and post the module to me and I'll change them for you. By the way where are you in Jockland? I'm just over the wall west of Carlisle.
Mike.
