In which suspension position is there the least pressure on the seals of cylinders valves and bits.
I'm guessing its totally up or totally down.
1998 Xantia 1.9TD SX That kinda dark green that shows every spec and is an oven in the summer.

Down on low. In the rears especially, practically no pressure at all.

That is not quite so true of the accumulator though.

The way I understand it , there is always pressure in the hydraulic system , but if the suspension is fully lowered there is no hydraulic load in the suspension cylinders.
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
