Unread post by citroenxm »

Okay, well its a 1999 V reg 1.9d Relay...

Its the useual steering problem, if we turn the steering full lock to the left I think, it goes CLUNK! Then when in straight ahead position it will pull to the left

If then the steering is turned full opposite lock to the right, it CLUNKS again, and will drive without pulling!

I beleve its something to do with the struts ... but, how do you get to the strut tops to remove them?? Is it a dash out??

IS the problem strut related, Ive been told its a common fault across the Relay/Boxer/Fiat one....

Regards
PAul

Most likely strut bearing fault (partially siezed), Just the lower parts of the dash at both sides has to be removed which is a fairly simple job, just a few screws to allow you to get to the top bolts.
