Help from PR NET required.

Post by macaroni »

Hi,
I have 2 long hydraulic pipes from a Xantia and would like to know what they're for before I try and flog them.

If I supply the part numbers, can someone with access to pr-net identify them for me please?

They are:96 106 389 and 96 106 390.

If anyone needs either of these pipes, pleae let me know.

Cheers,

Antony

In the past on a CX or XM etc these were the curly pipes that ran across
from the subframe onto the rear arms - if that's what they look like, for
the right price I'd fancy having them spare!!

Problem is though, how would they get here in one piece as they'd need to
be in a 5" diameter poster tube of something!?

Fantastic answer, thanks very much.

I'll see if I can "acquire" a tube from work to post them. I'll come up with a price tomorrow, but feel free to make me an offer.

Cheers,

Citroen can't locate these parts from those numbers, for some reason.

So, make me an offer!

How does £20 + postage sound?

Hi,
does anyone know if these will fit a CX saloon without ABS?
Citroen can't locate the part numbers any more.

Any help gratefully received.

Nope -

CX & BX had different pipe diameters with/not ABS fitted.
Standard non-ABS pipes are 3.5mm diameter external.
ABS piping (yours) would be 4.5mm diameter ext.
